Art Ticknor

Art Ticknor worked with Richard Rose and the TAT Foundation for decades beginning in the late 1970s. During Mr Rose’s later years he lived at the farm or close by. He was instrumental in developing/reviving a 1990s iteration of the Self-Inquiry group in Pittsburgh before ultimately establishing the Philosophical Self-Inquiry Discussion Group in Gainesville, Florida.

Art is a frequent speaker at TAT Foundation events and has written and contributed to several books. These include: Solid Ground of Being, published in 2010, Beyond Mind, Beyond Death (Art Ticknor et alia), Sense of Self: The Source of All Existential Suffering? and Beyond Relativity: Transcending the Split Between Knower and Known.
