In the past, the attempt was: "Given the person I am, what can I get?" This is unproductive.

A better question: "What kind of person am I and can I be? What is my true nature?"

Maybe a rejection of the relationships of the past is necessary. I own no allegiance to the dependencies of the person I used to be, the fractional person. Maybe something new will develop - if not with those people, then with someone(s) new.

Whatever I see, all the world around, is an affirmation of myself - it would not be here if I were not here. This affirmation is a doorway to consciousness of consciousness. Does the world need to exist, for me to also exist? No. When the world disappears, the Self remains. So I quit worrying about the world and investigate that.

The retreat in June was very helpful in getting into a productive state of mind and for increasing my interest in the spiritual search. My goals for going into the retreat were threefold:

-More inspiration to move in the direction I need to move in.
